Thanks to our Colleagues: Franciszek Mróz and Tomasz Rachwał, we can reminiscence about the exceptional Congress of Polish Geography 2018 organized by the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies at the University of Warsaw, the Polish Geographical Society, the Committee of Geographical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Board of Directors and Deans of Geographical Institutes and Faculties. The congress was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Polish Geographical Society and the 100th anniversary of geography at the University of Warsaw on April 12-14, 2018 at the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies at the University of Warsaw under the auspices of the Rector of the University of Warsaw: prof. Marcin Pałys. The congress was the main part of the celebration of the Year of Polish Geography 2018.
