Article Structure
Surname(s) of the author(s)
Affiliation of the author(s)
E-mail address and telephone number of the corresponding author
If available, 16-digit ORCID of the author(s)
Title – should be clear, concise, and fully reflect the content of the article. In a research paper, a case-study location may be mentioned. Avoid overly long, complex sentences.
Abstract – should include: a brief introduction and research aim (2–3 sentences), description of methods (2–3 sentences), preliminary results (3–4 sentences), and general conclusions (1–2 sentences). Maximum 250 words. Make it as complete as possible, as readers often judge relevance from the abstract alone.
Avoid generic statements that add no substantive content.
Keywords – 6 terms reflecting research topic, methods, and study area. Avoid duplicating words from the title or using overly broad phrases (e.g. “landscape geography”).
Introduction – should immerse the reader in the topic, based on comprehensive international, national, and regional literature. Include: general background; state-of-the-art review; definitions of key terms; problem statement and clear research objectives.
Materials, Methods, and Study Area – describe all data sources (digital databases, maps, planning documents, statistics, field-work results, etc.) and the study area’s physical and administrative setting. Include maps with legends, scale, and north arrow.
Results – present original findings, possibly in subsections. Use maps, tables, figures, or photos sparingly but effectively.
Discussion – interpret your results in comparison with existing studies, discuss strengths and limitations, and suggest avenues for future research.
Conclusions – summarize the main findings and their significance in concise text or bullet points.
References – list 25–60 items, covering international, national, and (if needed) regional sources. Exclude non-scholarly materials except in special cases. All cited works—including maps, databases, and websites—must appear in the list.
